1. The Wiggle In service
These Terms apply to people using the Wiggle In website or pet-owner app. Wiggle In connects pet owners with appointment openings posted by independent veterinary practices. Wiggle In does not provide veterinary services, medical advice or emergency triage. The veterinary practice, not Wiggle In, decides what services to offer, whether to accept a request, and what treatment and fees are appropriate. If your pet may have an emergency, contact a veterinary emergency provider directly rather than relying on Wiggle In.
2. Accounts and eligibility
Users must be at least 18 years old and provide truthful, current information. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. We may restrict access for misuse, suspected fraud, security risks or violation of these Terms, subject to applicable law and any outstanding booking or refund obligations.
3. Requests and confirmations
Selecting a posted opening and submitting a request does not confirm an appointment. An appointment is confirmed only when the veterinary practice accepts it. Practices can decline requests based on availability, pet or visit type, or their own policies. An unanswered request may expire after the response deadline shown in the booking process; deadlines vary with the time remaining before the visit. Appointment times are displayed in the practice's local time. If a practice declines or the request expires, the payment authorization is released or any captured deposit is refunded as appropriate.
4. Deposits and payment processing
The standard deposit amounts are $75 for a Sick Visit, $50 for a Wellness Visit and $25 for a Technician Visit, unless a different amount is expressly shown before you submit your request. A deposit is credited toward the practice's charge for your appointment; it is not the full cost of veterinary care. A payment processor, such as Stripe, handles card authorization and payment. Under the intended workflow, the deposit is authorized when the request is submitted and captured only if the practice approves the request. Your payment screen controls the amount you authorize. If an authorization is released, your financial institution controls how quickly it disappears from your statement.
5. Cancellation, no-shows and refunds
A pending request may be canceled before practice approval, in which case the associated authorization should be released. If the practice declines a request, the request expires, or the practice cancels an approved booking, the deposit is released or refunded in full. For an approved appointment, canceling at least 24 hours before the scheduled start generally qualifies for a deposit refund. Canceling less than 24 hours before the start, or failing to attend a confirmed appointment, generally means the practice retains the deposit, unless the booking screen disclosed a different practice-specific policy, the practice approves an exception, or applicable law requires a refund. If the appointment is booked less than 24 hours in advance, the applicable cancellation policy should be displayed before you submit the request. After check-in, any further cancellation or refund questions are handled with the practice. Refund processing time depends in part on the payment provider and your financial institution.
6. Changes, communications and SMS
A request to reschedule is not itself a new confirmed appointment; any changed time must be accepted by the practice. You may receive service emails or push notifications about account and booking activity. Wiggle In SMS notifications require a separate, optional opt-in. SMS may include appointment requests, booking updates, reminders, cancellations and deposit/refund updates. Message frequency varies based on booking activity, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help, or contact admin@wigglein.app. Consent to SMS is not required to make a purchase or booking. Carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages. See our Privacy Policy for our use of information and our commitment not to share SMS consent for third-party marketing.
7. Appropriate use and content
Do not post false information, request appointments you do not intend to keep, book on behalf of someone without permission, scrape or resell our information, interfere with our service, or use the platform unlawfully. The Wiggle In name, logo, interface and materials belong to Wiggle In or its licensors and may not be used without permission, except as allowed by law.
8. Availability and limits of responsibility
We work to keep the service available and information accurate, but veterinary practices control their posted availability and clinical decisions. We do not guarantee that an opening will remain available, that a practice will accept a request, that messages will arrive without delay, or any clinical outcome. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Wiggle In is not responsible for services or medical decisions made by independent veterinary practices, and is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the platform. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Changes, law and contact
We may revise these Terms with a revised date and any notice required by law. New versions apply prospectively as required by law; the terms accepted when a particular booking was submitted should remain identifiable in the booking record. These Terms are governed by applicable Ohio law, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rights.
